You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes clarity comes after you take the first step.

Dear Builder,

Maybe you are in a season where you are questioning your next step.

Maybe the plan you had no longer makes sense.
Maybe you are watching other people move ahead and wondering if you are falling behind.

I want to remind you of something I have had to learn myself.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes clarity comes after you take the first step.

You learn by doing.
You discover what works by trying.
You discover what doesn’t work by getting it wrong.

And sometimes, you discover that the thing you thought you were building is not actually what you were meant to build.

.

That is not failure.
That is part of becoming.

Your journey does not have to look like someone else’s.
You don’t need their timeline.
You don’t need their validation.

You need the courage to be faithful with what is in front of you today.

Take the next step.
Learn what you need to learn.

Make the adjustment when you need to adjust.
And keep going.

You are still becoming.
And that is okay.

With grace, Betty
